Carolina Colours brings to life the very best of small Carolina towns, past, present and future. A mere thirty miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean, the waters of the Trent and Neuse Rivers converge to surround the vibrant waterfront town of New Bern, NC, which was North Carolina’s first capital city. Towering church steeples and clock towers stretch skyward. Crisp white sails flutter in the coastal breeze.

The Carolina Colours Retail Towne Centre delivers a welcome return to the traditional conveniences of the main street shopping. The largest of the community lakes, Carolina Lake’s mere presence evokes excitement. Colours Pavilion, architecturally reminiscent of a traditional southern coastal retreat, is the heart of the community. A special gathering place for sharing, this Activity Campus offers modern and traditional amenities for all to enjoy – state-of-the-art fitness equipment, tennis, a resort-style pool, outdoor barbeque grills, rocking chairs, bright green grass and calming Carolina Lake views.
Colours Golf Course, designed by Bill Love, President of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and Chairman of its Environmental Committee, is considerate of the intimate relationship between the course and the land, waterways and natural wildlife habitats. The result is a challenging, yet fun course for playing golf.

Mansion Flats
Reminiscent of stately southern plantation homes, mansion flats tastefully disguise four contemporary living condominiums. Classic colonial white columns and tall double- entry plantation doors frame the mansion façade. Grand porches on the front and rear of each home open the interior living spaces to the great outdoors in warm spring, summer and fall months.
Towne Homes
Skillful exterior reproduction of historic two-story townehomes recaptures the flavor of colonial city life. Classic architectural details include brick facades, French entry doors, front porches ranging from petit to double story, along with a variety of window and shutter accents. Choose from three and four bedroom plans, often with first floor master suites. Detached garages are conveniently located in the rear.
Traditional Homes
Tranquil lake front views. Golfing on the horizon. Large lawns. Traditional Carolina Colours Homes offer an atmosphere of hospitality, both inside and out. Porches and entries in all directions welcome both the outside and guests in.
